How to Participate in Laurel’s Small Business Saturday

The City of Laurel is hosting a Shop Small table on the Farmer’s Market Lot at 378 Main Street from 10am – 12pm. Our goal is to promote our small businesses and encourage shoppers to get out and shop small! At this table, we will have free coffee and donuts, logo freebies, tote bags, and a raffle.

Your City of Laurel business can be included at the Shop Small table in the following ways…

  1. We can include a coupon or flyer for your business in the giveaway tote bags (50 count minimum)
  2. We can include a freebie logo item on the table to pass out to customers (No minimum required)

If you would like to participate in one or both of the above ways, here is what you need to do:

  • Coupon/Flyer
    • You can send me a digital image of your coupon or flyer, and I can print them out for you (The print will be on regular 8×11 printer paper) OR
    • If you already have your coupon/flyer printed, send me an email at LSteele@Laurel.md.us with your business name and address by Sunday November 21st, and I will stop by your business and pickup the coupon/flyer.
  • Logo Freebie
    • Send me an email at LSteele@Laurel.md.us with your business name and address by Sunday November 21st, and I will stop by your business and pickup the logo items.

And don’t forget to promote Small Business Saturday through your website, email lists, and on social media! Use the below hashtags, share our Shop Small flyer, and tag us on Facebook @LaurelECD so we can share your posts!
